In Case of an Emergency: don't panic! Try to assess your pet's pulse, respiration rate, temperature and level of discomfort. Are the gums pink? Will he/she eat a treat (the cookie test!)? Walking? Wagging? Able to rest comfortably? If your pet is distressed, you may need to find help.

Unfortunately, there are no dedicated emergency veterinary services in Grand County. If your pet is distressed, you may need to head towards Denver.

Dr. Brooks     970-887-2417 at Brooks Veterinary Services in Granby might be available.

Wheatridge Animal Hospital (Denver)     303-424-3325 is a nationally recognized 24/7 Specialty hospital with veterinarians board certified in many disciplines, including Emergency and Critical Care.
